Dr. Edward Tufte, formerly at Yale, wrote a brilliant article about how the default settings o Power Point probably contributed to the Columbia shuttle disaster because some engineers who were trying to express their concerns about the shuttle's condition were forced to overstate how prepared they were to make this a presentable file. In other words Office has literally killed seven people we know about. How bad is that?
