While some math skills are needed, they are not extraordinary. Give it a try.
Oh and PHP.. don't bet your future on it. Big companies don't like unsupported things.
If you're not good at math, then you'll never be a good data analyst--it requires lots of math.

I'm a junior PHP developer as of now. I've been researching regarding Big data and on shifting my career to become a data analyst.
I'm basically not good at maths and that itself turned me down when I went through the pre-requisites that are required to become a data analyst.
I'm good at PHP and not good at maths.
I would like to know if I hold any chances of becoming a data analyst or should i stick to my web developing job ?
Data is being the future, I was curious about it.
