Yes, it looks good, but I would agree with Luke that the "white words blend in with the background". Also, I don't like the way you cover up the whole picture with the title until you move the cursor. Can't you put the title at the bottom of the picture so that when it says "The Owen River" you can see the Owen River? Also, give a little more description in the titles, like in what state is the Owen River located (or what country?)

I agree with Luke completely. It looks great, but the background picture detracts from the text, and the Portfolio link doesn't belong on this page

It looks great, but some suggestions:

- Put the map on another sub-webpage in your domain and name it "map" or whatever, your main page shouldn't have that and to me it makes it look like you stuffed up that homepage.

- Either use another picture behind your quote about pictures, or change the color because the white words blend in with the background
