After installation, simply go to the stock Configurations application where you will see a brand new preference panel for Activate Command. Within the tweak’s preferences you’ll find nine different slots, and all these slots can have a shell command.
Next, head to Activator’s preferences, and assign a gesture towards the corresponding command number that you simply set up in Activate Command’s preferences. You’ll then be able to use an Activator gesture to complete the shell command.
The developer features a couple of good examples of the sort of commands that you might think about using as a way to try out the tweak. I stuck just using something easy, invoking Siri while using “say” command, and designated it to some double press from the sleep button. All worked well just like advertised .
If you are a sophisticated user who’s plenty acquainted with shell coammands and shell scripting, then Activate Command will probably be something that’ll interest you. Otherwise, the tweak and it’s value will probably be lost within the shuffle.
