Would you rather be a mail clerk in a gaming company, or would you prefer to write programs that produce business reports from a database (assuming both jobs are available in SoCal)?

I want to do something with computer engineering and gaming, but unfortunately, they all involve design as well, and I'm not artistic.

Another factor would be that I would have to move to Northern California, when I'd like to stay here in Southern California.

I've looked into Mathematics and Computer Science vs. Computer Science and Engineering.

Would I still be able to get a job in the gaming industry if I just focus on the computer engineering aspect?
