How do I concatenate two cells in Excel?

"All 3 cells are formatted as Text."

The text format is preventing the formula from being parsed. Set it back to General (or whatever format you need), and re-enter the formula.

You have a "space" between your b7 and the comma, and also after the word concatenate. Remove them and the formula may work.

. .

Put & sign between two cell address i.e. =CONCATENATE(A36&B36)

I have two cells, both containing text, in different areas of the same excel sheet. I want to concatenate them into another cell, but when I type the formula

=concatenate (b7 , f25) I only see my formula, not its result. All 3 cells are formatted as Text. Any ideas?
