I want to get into animating, what Drawing Tablet should I buy?

A PC tablet for animating? Considering how many layers you'll be needing, I wouldn't reccomend it. They tend to have very little memory and tend to crash with more than a few programs open or with heavier programs like ZBrush. Plus, despite the fact that it does have pen pressure which is kind of the point of tablets, the pens tend to be rounded and therefore inaccurate. It also tends to have less pressure points, aka even less accuracy no matter what pen you have.

For your budget, I reccomend finding an Intuos Pro Small. It's a little over your budget, but it can last you a good decade if taken care of properly, and it's definitely worth the investment. If you really can't bump it up, you could get an Intuos Pen. Or you could check out the other options explained here (plus, she covers all tablet options much better than I could):

I've always had an interest in animating and now that I'm starting work on my own video games and such I want to start drawing and creating my own stuff. I'm looking for a good cheap drawing tablet for about $150 or less. I've considered buying a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (little more expensive than I like but I think I could manage it) I saw someone doing some great art work on one and I was wondering if maybe that would be a viable choice? If not suggestions are welcome.

Thanks,
