This could be done in Windows editions up to XP, but but the Active Desktop feature that made it possible was dropped in Vista.? You can still use sound-enhanced screensavers, because they are full-fledged programs.

There's an Active Desktop replacement for Vista available, although I don't know if it works on later editions, or if JavaScript, Java, or Flash Player is supported.

I also don't know whether wallpaper with audio is even still available, either in JavaScript, Java, or Flash versions.? DIY wallpaper is HTML/Javascript based, but implementing it is not trivial.

So I want my desktop background picture to play a sound or noise whenever I click on a certain part of the screen, like if i have a background picture of a giant beach with all these details, and I have a sound for each detail in the picture, and say if I click on a bird it'll make bird cries and so on

So how would I do that, can someone walk me through it step by step, I've seen it done before I believe
