WHERE TO LEARN JAVA??

Beginning programming with Java for dummies. That is the best book for a complete beginner I have seen.

I hate to break it to you but if you can't understand the concepts in the book I mentioned you just aren't meant to be a programmer. Programming is hard and it only gets harder. I'm sorry there is just no easy way out.

Head first Java is another decent beginner book. You probably need a beginning programming book instead of a Java book. A Java book is likely going to assume you know what you're doing going into it. There are plenty of books for beginners that teach you with Java though like the two I listed.

Udemy.com has FREE Java video tutorial

https://www.udemy.com/java-tutorial/

Includes over 75 video lectures and 16 hours of content! Suitable for anyone who wants to learn Java

For book - I'd recommend you - "Head First Java"

http://www.amazon.com/Head-First-Java-Ka...

Includes lots of pictures & comments to make learning Java a fun experience

I'd stay away from online tutorials if I were you. Books are the best way to learn.

You are prone to adapting to the "holding hands" method of learning by using online-tutorials like codecademy.

u can lean java from http://docs.oracle.com/javase/tutorial/ or http://www.tutorialspoint.com/java/ . Both are good for beginner

try googling "java for beginners". also codecademy.

WHERE TO LEARN JAVA?????

Ok so i have asked this question many many many times but never got the answer im looking for.

reason being is because i am COMPLETELY new to the idea of programming and i would like to learn from somewhere that teaches SLOWLY and takes time to EXPLAIN things.

previoulsy i have read books on java, tried interactive java lessons online, but to be honest those were very hard for me because they did not EXPLAIN things well. i would like to learn from somewhere that teaches all the basics and more, in a SLOW manner, taking time to EXPLAIN things clearly.

if anyone could give me a book name or a website where i could learn java easily that would be great. remember, i want to learn from somewhere that goes very SLOW and can take time to EXPLAIN things clearly and well. again, i am a complete NOOB BEGGINNER to the idea of programming.

sorry for all the caps just trying to emphasize. :s

any additional advice would be greatly appreciated. THANK YOU!!!! :D
