Let me start with.. Websites are built up of code.. But display plain english context (Usually)
So they cant design a website using language that you understand regardless.
And they can speak to you in english but would not be able to explain alot to you.
Drag and drop (That is a basic function that i could teach a 5yr old in under a minute)
I do know where your coming from even though i am tech savvy.. I explain alot..
Of computer stuff to people like you and have taught people alot over the years.
Many services are offered these days to create your own website easily (No complex stuff)
Very basic unless you wish to delve into the more tech stuff.. It's usually available.
But you would need to learn how to do it and it could start to get complicated.

With simple English I will tell you that if you expect to only spend $100 on what amounts to be an eCommerce site then you have no idea what you're getting into or the costs involved.
Over the course of a single year you could put several thousand dollars into something like that. Especially when you lack the knowledge of how to update and maintain it.
Your arrogance paired with your ignorance makes we want to puke. Good luck with your request for a "techno-geek".
I'm perfectly capable of building a site like this, but after reading your description I wouldn't touch this job with a ten foot pole, even if you offered a decent amount like $1000.
Consider getting more knowledge or experience. 100$ sounds like u want a pizza.

A "techno-geek" will agree to design a simple, basic, site, where I may post my "digital products", so that customers, world-wide, may find my work, via "search engines", for paid downloads.
I need to find someone who will design a site, using language which I understand. The simple, basic, English, which we use to talk to family, friends, and neighbors, would be best.
What I do NOT need is "computer terms", such as "drag and drop", "platforms", "domains", "network connectivity", and so on.
All that I am asking for is a web-site, where I may sell my stories, and with use directions, which are written in a form which "normal" people can understand.
