$900 to learn HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Git in 3 months...Worth it?

I would say no, it's not. You could purchase books to teach yourself all of that for about $100 or you could use any of a plethora of on-line tutorials which would do the same thing.

khanacademy.org has some tutorials. You can get free classes from a number of major universities through the web sites EdX.org and Udacity.com. These are the same classes taught in the classrooms of places like Harvard, Stanford, etc. taught by the very same professors.

3 months isn't even enough to cut your teeth, let alone learn something.

or go to a real tech school and get a degree

I'm thinking of signing up for Thinkful's front end design course which lasts about 3 months @ $300/month. The entire time you have an instructor available to answer any questions if you get stuck. Is this worth the price, or should I go for less expensive route and learn via free webistes? Thanks for any advice.
